Volunteer Role TitleVolunteer Online Bike Station Administrator
About the Volunteer RoleWe have a bike workshop and station, we accept donations of old bikes; recycle and repair to sell on at very reasonable rates. The charity has just launched an online bike shop to be able to raise vital funds through the sale of the bikes. About you - The ideal person will need to have a basic understanding of web elements and HTML. An understanding of Word Press would be advantageous. An understanding of the issues facing those with mental health difficulties would be beneficial, though not a pre-requisite. You will ideally need to commit to one day per week and be confident in taking photographs and writing a description of the bikes for the online shop. A knowledge of bikes is not necessary as you will work with our bike station volunteers and project leader. The role will be to manage the maintenance of the website. The role is perfect for someone who would like to gain experience with 'hands-on' practical application.
