WY-FI Peer Mentors volunteer across West Yorkshire (Bradford, Calderdale, Kirklees, Leeds and Wakefield) by supporting our teams who help adults facing homelessness, addiction, re-offending and/or mental ill health.

About the organisation

WY-FI supports people who are not engaging effectively with services and are experiencing entrenched needs in at least three of the following HARM area:
– Homelessness
– Addiction to drugs and/or alcohol
– Reoffending
– Mental ill-health

What are they looking for?

Essential: People with their own experience of homelessness, addiction, re-offending and/or mental ill health.

Desirable: Previous experience of volunteering, peer mentoring or supporting people.

Date and details

Over 18’s
Peer Mentors who volunteer within the WY-FI teams receive travel expenses, supervision and access to more training.
