Wednesday 21st June TPT CV are painting the barriers at Eastfield Avenue (weather permitting but looking okay at the moment). They do have some glorious space suit outfits to save you from getting covered in paint, but if you feel you’re not going to love those please make sure you wear something that will be improved with splashes of dark green paint.
On Wednesday 28th June they’ll be carrying out maintenance work at the Magic Wood. As in previous years, they’re hoping to have the help of BMBC Rangers to take down some of the old Goat Willows at the back of the MW (which stretch right across the Birch saplings and cut out all the light) but still awaiting confirmation. If you’d like a lift from Penistone – leaving around 9.40am – please ring/email/text to arrange.
Wednesday 21st June 2017 10am – 4.30pm

For all workdays…
You’ll need to wear…Old clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty or torn, sturdy footwear and gloves – waterproof if it’s wet -to protect your hands.
Do bring… A packed lunch – they’ll provide tea, coffee, fruit juice and biscuits in the morning and afternoon. They do have tools and equipment, but you’re welcome to bring your own (in good condition) if you prefer. And it’s a good idea to bring waterproofs/sun cream/midge repellent!
Newcomers are always welcome. If you can only stay for a couple of hours that’s no problem, and there’s no need to tell them you’re coming, just choose a nice day/task and turn up! No experience necessary but please ring/email if you have any queries, or have a look at the FAQ page of the website: www.TPTcv.co.uk
