Looking for DIY Enthusiasts & Gardeners

What: DIY, Woodland Management, Gardening

Where: Beaumont Park, HD4

When: weekly and monthly opportunities

Friends of Beaumont Park are always on the look-out for volunteers to help keep their beautiful park and Visitor Centre running and to help co-ordinate and staff the many community events that they put on.  In particular at the moment they’d like people to help with DIY projects in the Visitor Centre and to join the woodland management and gardening groups who help maintain the park. This is a great opportunity to use skills and interests you already have, meet new people, work in fantastic surroundings, contribute to your local community and be part of a varied, active and welcoming Friends group.

The woodland group works on cutting back and maintaining the park every month on a Saturday. For details about the work and meeting dates contact Darren on darren@fobp.co.uk or phone 07801431837

The gardening group meets on a Monday, 10 till 12.

And to enquire about helping with DIY,  or other volunteering opportunities (such as events, helping in the Visitor Centre or cake baking), please email friends@fobp.co.uk, 01484 645217, www.fobp.co.uk
