We can help you to think about how you can work with your local community.
The jargon for it is CSR or Corporate Social Responsibility, but we prefer to think of it as developing meaningful connections between businesses and the communities they are part of.
Of course the first question to ask is ‘why bother?’. Most businesses set out wanting to do some good or give back in some way, which is of course great, but they are often surprised to discover that CSR is not a one way street. When employees work with local groups they learn new skills and develop their understanding and abilities in a way that benefits the business.
