The Do-it.org website has been redesigned and relaunched.
Do-it is the national database for volunteering, helping individuals to find good things to do and it can be a useful route for organisations and groups to find the volunteers they need.
Volunteering Kirklees uses Do-it to publicise local volunteer opportunities. And local organisations can now sign up, create an account and use it directly.
We’re really excited by the new site as it’s easy to use and is designed to tie in well with social media. This will make it easier for everyone to share stories about volunteering such as why they do it, what they’ve achieved and how to join in.
The website is at www.do-it.org
Do get in touch if you have any questions about how best to use Do-it and remember it’s just one way to publicise your volunteering opportunities. We can help with our local noticeboard, text service and more.
