Magic, singing, music… got a special skill you can share?

About this opportunity

The Entertainment Volunteers role will be to deliver an entertainment session of approximately 30 minutes (magic, singing, music) at an Afternoon Tea event in the hospice ground to patients and carers on Friday 14 July 2017 from 12 noon to 4 pm.

About the organisation

Kirkwood Hospice provides specialist care, free of charge, to adults in Kirklees with advanced, progressive illnesses at any time from diagnosis to the end of life, respecting their individual needs and wishes. Care and support is also provided for their family members, friends, and carers, both during the illness and after death.

Through education, training, and partnership with others, the Hospice improves care for everyone affected by a life-limiting illness.

What are they looking for?

It is essential that you are friendly, confident, empathetic and, of course, talented in your chosen performance area. You will need to be able to adapt your act to suit your audience.
