This is a great chance to volunteer for an established service, increCloverleaf advocacy Smallase your skills, and help improve the lives of others and is a good chance to meet new people. The only qualification needed is your desire to help someone in need. Training will be given.

Key Tasks

• Help with day to day admin duties including filing, scanning, photocopying and post
• Data input of volunteer records
• Assist with event planning for volunteer’s week, Christmas parties and Nominate a volunteer each quarter.
• Maintain accurate volunteer records on database and simple Excel spreadsheet
• Archiving of old files
• Dealing with emails
• Assist with production of Newsletter
• Assist with putting induction packs together for new starters
• Tidying up network folders and information in them
• Checking paper files against records on the database and inputting missing information
• Chase volunteers or project managers for missing information
• Uploading role descriptions to Do-it.org
• Offer input or assist with new leaflet design
• Communicate with pending volunteers on our waiting list

About the organisation

We provide person centered advocacy services for carers, older people, people with mental health needs, learning disabilities, physical & sensory impairments and people who have acquired brain injuries. Our advocacy services are independent and confidential.

What are they looking for?

Qualities, Skills, Experience & Qualifications required:
• An interest in working in a busy office environment
• Have a positive approach to work
• Good communicator both verbal and written
• Level 2 or above in English
• Good organisational skills
• Able and willing to learn computer systems
• Good knowledge of word, excel & PowerPoint
• Experience in admin work preferred but not essential
• Able and willing to work as part of a team and also be able to work independently
• Flexible
• NO DBS check is required for this role

Date and details

Location: Dewsbury
Commitment: 4-10hrs a week (over 2 days a max) flexible
