Who are they looking for?
They work with anyone aged 16-25 who is experiencing difficulties in their life; for example, you might:
- lack confidence
- suffer from anxiety
- have negative thoughts
- have difficulty making friends
- may no longer be in full-time education
- have got yourself in with the wrong crowd
- want to enhance your career prospects
What’s on offer?
They can tailor make a project just for you. You help plan and direct what they do and even control the purse strings. In the past they have; painted raised beds, created a pond, created a wildlife garden, made bug houses and bird boxes.
If you’re not sure something long term is for you, they can provide one-off activities like; creating a bog garden, creating a wildlife or pond area, species survey, tree planting, environmental art or photography.
They can happen on afternoons, evenings or Saturdays, be regular or one off, involve a small group of people. If you complete 30 hours you get to go on a group trip!
You control what you do
You can attend one session or ten 3 hour sessions, the choice is yours
A £2 contribution to the session is applicable
