Frontline’s mission is to transform the lives of vulnerable children by recruiting and developing outstanding individuals to be leaders in social work and broader society.
Their two-year programme offers a unique route into one of Britain’s toughest and most rewarding professions. You’ll benefit from intensive practical and academic training as a child protection social worker and completing fully-funded Post Graduate Diploma and Masters qualifications.
Frontline are committed to attracting and recruiting outstanding participants to join their programme, and as such, they are hosting this event to give career changers and recent graduates based in Yorkshire and the North East an insight into the Frontline programme and a career in social work.
This event gives you the opportunity to hear from senior members of the Frontline organisation, social work specialists, and the recruitment team. You can hear all about the programme, the benefits of switching from your existing career to one in social work, what they’re looking for and ask any questions you might have. You will also be able to network with members of the team and gain an insight into the application process which will open in September.
For full details of their events in Manchester and Leeds on the 23rd August and to sign up, please visit their Eventbrite page.
If you have any questions regarding this event, please contact Recruitment@thefrontline.org.uk
These events are being held for those individuals who have already graduated and are considering switching to a career in social work. You can attend one of our networking evenings regardless of whether or not you’ve previously applied for the Frontline programme.
Applicants to their Frontline programme are required to have a 2.1 and C or above in GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent). Unfortunately, there can be no exceptions to this. if you have any questions about this please visit http://www.thefrontline.org.uk/how-apply/what-were-looking-for/eligibility-requirements.
