Doggy Dash for Life!

About this opportunityCancer_Research_UK.svg

Doggy Dash for Life is Cancer Research UK’s big fundraising event of the year. They run it jointly with the RSPCA Halifax animal centre and provide a wonderful day out for dog lovers in the area. This is a fully volunteer-run event, with no paid staff, so they need confident, enthusiastic volunteers to help the day run smoothly. Their biggest requirement is to have lots of lovely people out on the dash route to cheer on the participants, make sure they’re going the right way and encourage everyone to be safe. Each race marshall will be allocated a marshalling point and will be expected to stay there until all participants have finished the route.
