Yorkshire Air Ambulance – will be on hand for the Tour de Yorkshire 3-6 May 2018. They’d love you to help out with fundraising. If you’d like be involved please email Angela a.vyas@yaa.org.uk

Leonard Cheshire – supports disabled people to live the lives they choose. LC runs Kenmore Care Home in Cleckheaton and Beechwood in Edgerton near Huddersfield. They have a range of volunteer roles including: Drivers, Admin and Reception Helpers, Befrienders (spending time with someone with a disability who uses LC services), Speakers (give presentations to raise awareness of LC).

Kirkwood Hospice – have events and opportunities all year. Two dates for your diary are Midnight Memory Walk – Saturday 23rd June and the Colour Rush run – Sunday 30th September. Contact fundraising@kirkwoodhospice.co.uk

Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice – charity superstore (Huddersfield HD1 3JF) needs a bric-a-brac volunteer (chosing what you think will sell) a ladies fashion helper and a general merchandise volunteer to create eye-catching displays.
