Time                      17:00pm to 20:00pm

Location                 Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice, Russell House, Fell Greave Road, Huddersfield, HD2 1NH

Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice supports children with life shortening conditions and their families across West Yorkshire. They currently support more than 270 children and their families through our hospice at home service and at their state of the art hospice, Russell House, in Huddersfield.

They simply couldn’t do what they do without the support of an army of volunteers who quite literally oil the wheels and keep them running.  They just couldn’t manage without them. They contribute in countless extraordinary ways, helping to ensure we can keep saying ‘yes’ to more and more children and their families.

Do you think you could spare 2-4 hours each week? Are you looking to make a difference in your local community? Would you like to improve your CV? Whether you have lots of time to give or a little, they would love to meet you so why not come along to their open evening event on Tuesday 21st March. Team members will be on hand to say hello and answer any questions you may have. You can also have a look around the hospice and get a feel for the place.

They are growing fast, and need all hands on deck so they have a variety of exciting opportunities available from Shop Assistants, to Family Supporters, Community Fundraisers and Office Support and almost everything in between. In exchange, they will provide you with all the skills and support you need to be a fulfilled and successful volunteer.

We hope you can join them to find out how you can really make a difference.
